Whew, we made it!

The holidays have come and gone and so has my sleep routine and sanity.

Christmas with two toddlers is way more exhausting than I ever anticipated. First it was keeping them off the tree (or at least keeping the fragile ornaments out of reach).

Then, it was shopping, making and wrapping presents, and food prep with "helpful" little hands getting involved every time I turned my back for a second.

THEN, family get togethers with no naps, sugar fueled craziness (because god forbid they actually eat any of the main dishes or sides that would actually be healthy for them), in non-childproofed homes, cleaning up after them, and the fight of trying to get overtired kids in bed at the end of a long, exciting day. Or in our case days.

All of this craziness was totally offset by their wonder at all the pretty Christmas lights, their excitement over opening presents and playing with their new toys, and their adorable church outfits. I can't wait for them to fully grasp the magic of Christmas and Santa!
