He used to dance with me in the kitchen at 1 am after the bar, now he dances with her when she's fighting bedtime.

I used to help him with his project cars in a tiny garage, now she is his little shop helper that runs off with all of his tools.

We used to ride the 4 wheeler together, now she is his little shotgun rider out to the pasture to check fence.

He has always kissed me goodnight, now he kisses our babies goodnight too.
He hates to read, but he is always willing to read her a bedtime story.

He taught me to change my oil, but he does it for me anyway. He puts air in my tires when he knows I need it, even though I am perfectly capable of doing it myself. Someday, he will do the same for her.

He is always showing and teaching her new things with more patience than I have ever seen before

They are partners in crime, through and through. I am so grateful that I chose him to raise children with. He is teaching our daughter what a man is, in the way he cares for her unconditionally, patiently, and with a wonderful sense of humor.
