Overstimulated and Over It

I love my kids. With my whole heart. But I swear, hearing the same thing repeated 5+ times rapid fire to is driving me crazy. How many times can you say "No honey, first we need to eat some supper and then you can have a cookie" or "We already read 3 books, now it's time to go to bed" without completely losing your mind?
How about kids climbing on your legs and pulling your pants down while you're washing dishes, there's a pot of water about to boil over on the stove, the timer for the oven is going off, and the washer just dinged, all while the other half is trying to have a conversation about their day or making plans. Oh and the cat is crying because he's hungry too.

I know that I am more easily triggered when I haven't had enough sleep or drank enough water but when my 10 month old is going through a sleep regression and waking up every 2-3 hours like a newborn, that can be hard to do.
I don't have any idea how to deal with it. The best I can figure out so far is deep breathing and solving the biggest safety hazard first. If anyone has any tips I would love to hear them!
