Emotional Milestones

It's been a while since my youngest hit his last big milestone and I forgot about the emotional roller coaster that I go through every time. He took 15 steps today ALL BY HIMSELF!!

I'm a proud momma that he is getting stronger, braver, and improving balance. I'm sad that he is growing and developing in the blink of an eye.

I'm excited that he is learning new skills. I'm terrified of how much more he will be able to get into.

I'm happy because we have been getting anxious for him to figure it out so we are no longer stuck walking him in circles around the house for twenty minutes. I'm heartbroken that those might be the last first steps that happen in our house.

Just for a couple days I'm slowing down and soaking it all in, attempting to commit it all to memory.
